About Me
William Kim, M.D., is an orthopedic surgeon at Long Beach Medical Center specializing in joint replacement in both hips and knees, particularly total hip replacement via anterior approach.
Dr. Kim is on the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons and is also currently serving as associate clinical professor, director of joint replacement/implant research at University of California, Irvine.
Dr. Kim has presented on numerous occasions at the national level at scientific meetings and societies and has published numerous articles in a variety of professional literature.
Dr. Kim received his medical degree from University of Iowa College of Medicine and completed his postgraduate residency training at Gundersen Clinic in LaCrosse, Wisconsin and Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. He completed his fellowship in pediatric orthopedics, teaching in orthopedic surgery, scoliosis and spinal deformities at Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Kim completed his fellowship in total joint replacement and biomechanics at the University of Southern California.
