About Me
Sara Cooper, NP, pursued a career in medicine after being inspired by her father and two uncles, who were physicians in her local community. She decided to study advanced practice nursing and specialize in oncology because she understands the delicate nature of caring for someone with a cancer diagnosis and how it can affect the individual and their loved ones. Sara's goal is to offer her patients total support medically and emotionally, and to help them achieve the best possible outcome while maintaining the best quality of life consistent with the individual's care plan. Sara takes pride in developing longstanding relationships with patients and their families and being a meaningful person of support during the course of their treatment.
It is important for my patients to know that my goal is to always be their biggest advocate when it comes to receiving the best possible care.
Sara grew up in Long Beach, but spent 13 years in Nashville, Tennessee for her education and the beginning years of her career. She is bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish, and enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
