About Me

Rose Eapen, M.D., is an experienced, compassionate and dedicated pediatric otolaryngologist.

She recently relocated to California from North Carolina where she was in a high volume and diverse academic practice at Duke University Hospital for 5 years. Dr. Eapen completed medical school at Duke University and residency followed by fellowships in pediatric otolaryngology and T32 NIH Research Training at the University of North Carolina Medical Center, Chapel Hill.

Dr. Eapen is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology (AAO) and the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology (ASPO). She has presented her research widely and published in many prominent otolaryngology journals. As a result of her dedication to teaching during residency, Dr. Eapen was nominated by her fellow residents and trainees for AOA honor society. She has inspired numerous medical students and residents to pursue otolaryngology and pediatric otolaryngology in particular.

During her time at Duke, Dr. Eapen partnered with her colleagues in the ICN, PICU, and pediatric wards to help care for children with a variety of complex medical conditions. She developed expertise in both routine and complex pediatric otolaryngology procedures. She organized the first aerodigestive team at Duke, partnering with the pediatric gastroenterologists and pediatric pulmonologists to provide cohesive multi-disciplinary care.

Dr. Eapen is thrilled to provide comprehensive, evidence based, otolaryngology services to patients from birth till 18 in the South Bay and Long Beach communities.
