John D Nguyen, MD

Dr. John Duc Nguyen is a pediatric nephrologist at Miller Childrens Hospital Long Beach and practices out of the Pediatric Outpatient Specialty Center at Orange Coast Memorial, located in Fountain Valley. He earned his medical degree from University of Maryland at Baltimore, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and received the School of Medicines Deans Scholarship award. He completed his pediatric residency program at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he was part of the Quality Action Team for residency improvement and conducted private clinical case support research.

Dr. Nguyen completed his pediatric nephrology fellowship at UCLA, and is currently active in pediatric nephrology research. He is an active member in the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Medical Association, the National Kidney Foundation and the American Society of Pediatric Nephrology.

In his spare time, Dr. Nguyen enjoys football, soccer, tennis, skiing, reading and traveling.
